Ever felt like it's time to take a break from creating and sharing on OnlyFans?

Whether it's the endless grind for new content, concerns over data privacy, or simply a change in your creative direction, deciding to part ways and deleting your Creator account can feel a little daunting.

It’s a big step—especially with the amount of hard work you’ve put in. But don’t worry, you’re not alone.

But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to delete your account, what to expect once it's gone, and how to handle any remaining subscriptions.

Things to consider before deleting your OnlyFans account

Here are some key things to know if you’re planning to delete your OnlyFans account:

  • Once you’ve deleted your OnlyFans Creator account, you can’t reactivate or recover it. Make sure you're really ready to leave before you hit “delete.”

  • When you delete your account, OnlyFans deletes all your content. If you want to save any of the content you created, make sure it’s saved elsewhere. This includes the names of your subscribers. Save a list of your subscribers in case you ever decide to open a new account.

  • Your fans will lose access to any content they’ve purchased once their subscription expires. Let your subscribers know that you’re leaving OnlyFans and direct them to where they can follow you on other platforms.

How to delete your OnlyFans account

Whether you’re using your computer or a mobile device, deleting your account is simple:

  1. Log into your OnlyFans account using your email and password.

  2. Tap the dropdown menu, click “settings,” and then “account.”

  3. You’ll find the option for permanently deleting your account at the bottom. Click “delete.”

  4. You’ll see a CAPTCHA that requires you to enter a code. Enter the code, and a pop-up will ask you to confirm that you want to delete your account. Click “Yes, Delete.”

  5. Your account will now be disabled. You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly after OnlyFans deletes your account.

If you have a problem deleting your OnlyFans account, contact the platform's customer support team for assistance.

What happens when you delete your OnlyFans Creator account?

If you decide to delete your OnlyFans account, here’s what’ll happen:

Active subscriptions

Here's what you need to know about the process when you have active subscriptions:

  • Your account won't be deleted immediately. If you have active subscriptions, your account will be deleted only after the last active subscription has expired. This means your account stays up until the final subscription runs its course.

  • No new subscriptions: Once you've started the deletion process, new fans won’t be able to subscribe to your account.

  • Impact on active subscribers: Any subscriptions that are still active when you start the deletion process won't automatically renew. Subscribers will lose access once their current subscription period is over.

Pending payouts

As a Creator leaving OnlyFans, there's no need to worry about the earnings you've worked hard for.

Any pending payouts you have will be processed and sent to your designated payment method within the usual 7-day payout period.

It's a straightforward and secure way to make sure you receive what you're owed without any hassle.

Data privacy

After you delete your account, OnlyFans holds on to your data for six months according to their data privacy regulations.

If data privacy is a concern, you can request that OnlyFans delete any of your personal data that they have.

In the EU, however, according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can request a company to delete your data, and they must do so within 30 days.

On top of that, your profile may still appear in Google search results for some time. OnlyFans has no control over this.

Saying goodbye to your OnlyFans account

Deciding to delete your OnlyFans account is a big step.

Whether you're taking a break, concerned about privacy, or just moving in a new direction, it's important to wrap things up properly.

Deleting your account is pretty straightforward.

Just remember: once it's done, there's no going back.

So, take a moment to make sure you're ready.
